Marissa, Cory & Cayson Family Photo Shoot

Photographed little Cayson with his Mom & Dad (Marissa & Cory) just hanging out on a Saturday morning. It honestly seems like just yesterday photographing Marissa for her maternity photos.
Cayson was just way to cool and I think he really enjoyed my photography equipment. From the tri-pod to the camera, he was quite intrigued and had to check everything out. Especially liked his bib that says, "gotta love me", and his jeans that he kept on tripping over. Again, he was just way to much fun to hang with.
Michele and I are still keeping our fingers crossed on little boys... Michele really can't wait until there are little versions of me running around, I can't wait.

Natalie, Chad & Maddie Family Photo Shoot

Spent a few hours photographing Natalie, Chad & Maddie at Natalie's beautiful home in Rancho Sante Fe the other day. Pulling into the driveway I knew right away we had to do some shots on the bench out front. We picked out a few other spots to take some other photos and away we went. Natalie was just looking for a few family shots and a couple maternity shots of her before #2 comes along. Chad & Natalie are expecting their new little one in the next few weeks which they are thrilled about. I'm really looking forward to photographing the new addition to their family in the weeks to come.
Below are just a few of the images from the photo session.

Martin Katz & Promises 2 Kids

Got a phone call from fellow photographer John Hildebrand the other day looking for a last minute favor. He has a client based out of La Jolla that has consistently sent business our way and she was in need of a photographer. She was hosting an event at the Martin Katz Jewelry gallery in Rancho Sante Fe, CA and the original photographer bailed out at the last minute. I received a phone call roughly 2 hours before the event to see if I was able to squeeze this into my schedule. It was really my schedule that was the major problem for the event. It was that I just got back from my Mexico trip the day before and I lucked out and got food poisoning and a nice head cold. So, still dealing with that..., I took a quick shower, packed up and headed south.
Once I arrived and got into the groove of things and I actually felt a whole lot better.
The event was held at the Martin Katz Jewelry store on La Granada Street in the beautiful Rancho Sante Fe. Next door was champagne & hors d' oeuvres for all the guests to enjoy after viewing all the jewelry. The night was a benefit with proceeds going to Promises 2 Kids which was originally founded as the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation.
At the end of the night it looked as though there was quite a turnout and a lot of donations made.
Below are just a few of the images from the event.

Manuel, Maggy & Bella Family Photos

Photographed Manuel and his family down on the beach during a really nice sunset. Manuel used to work with me at OneSource Distributors before I ventured off into photography. Manuel know lives in Texas and he and and his family made a trip out to California for a short visit. After a family photo shoot they headed up to Disneyland for some fun with the family. Special thanks to Manual, Maggy & Bella for keeping me in mind for their family photos.

Guadalajara & Tepatitlan Mexico - Family Trip

Haven't posted in a while due to traveling, just being busy and my good old health. Thought I would start out December with a trip Michele and I took down to Guadalajara & Tepatitlan Mexico. Flew out of Tijuana and landed in Guadalajara and made a 1 hour drive to Tepa which was an interesting adventure. We were visiting my brother-in-laws family and met up with them a few times throughout the trip. In Tepatitlan we stayed at the Hotel Fiesta Altena and it was really quite nice, minus the 10 minute warm up for the showers. When we traveled back to Guadalajara for a day we stayed at the Hotel Casino Plaza which was in a great location.
Took way to many photos and thought I would share a few from the trip.
Must say I really love to walk the streets and just capture whatever catches my eye.
Thanks Michele, Eddie, Brian, Damaris & Baby Dina for a unforgettable trip. Love you guys!
