Kara + Matt - Engagement Photos

Photographed Kara & Matt the other day for their engagement photos. We spent a few hours up at Kara's parents beautiful home and got some pretty cool photos. I'm photographing their wedding later on this year in May which I am really looking forward to. The wedding is going to be held at The Golf Club of California in Fallbrook, California. We split the photo shoot up between using natural light and using some flashes. For the first few images I set up my Speedotron lights, two umbrellas camera left & right. Tucked the two lights right behind the pillars and cruised over to the other side of the pool and triggered the flashes via Pocket Wizards. Next we killed some time getting some natural light images before we set up a few shots for sundown. I especially liked the pool images we got with their reflection in the water, definitely a few of my favorite images.

Sarah & Tom - Los Willows, Fallbrook, CA

Photographed Sarah & Tom's wedding out in Fallbrook at the Los Willows Estate. It was really nice to run into a lot of familiar faces from back in the day that I haven't seen in a while. Most of the folks who attended the wedding I either went to school with or were friends of the family.
Tom & Sarah's wedding went very smooth and I know they had a lot of fun.
Most memorable moment of the night for me is when Tom requested the Mission Impossible theme song for acquiring the wedding garter.

From the looks of Sarah at the wedding holding someone's baby, I think they will be calling me soon for maternity photos.... No rush though Tom..

Kim & Alan - Winnipeg, Canada Wedding

A big thank you to Kim & Alan for having me photograph their engagement photos in San Francisco and their beautiful wedding in Winnipeg, Canada (my hometown). Kim & Alan's wedding reception was held at the historic Fort Garry Hotel in downtown Winnipeg. After the ceremony we headed over to St. Boniface Cathedral to get some photos of the bridal party & family.
Overall the wedding was absolutely perfect and Kim did a great job of planning everything for her big day.
