Rattlesnake Aces - Photo Shoot

The Rattlesnake Aces hit me up again to photograph Mario who is a new member of the band and was in need of a few portraits. Photographed these guys a few months back and they are preparing to release a CD in the near future. We had to swap out the old guitarist in the group image so I met up with Mario at their studio in San Marcos, California to snap a few photos.

Family Portraits with Ryleigh & Family

Photographed little Ryleigh the other day with her parents, Grandma and my long-time friend Sean. Drove down to their house in Rancho Bernardo and I set up a makeshift studio in their garage (equipment used for the photo shoot will be listed below). We were just looking to capture some simple family portraits and we ended up having a good time and getting a lot of great images. The images you see below are a few of my favorites from the studio set up and the remainder of the photo shoot were candid photos of Ryleigh playing in and around the house. In my experience working with little ones you just have to go with the flow and let them do their thing. With a little bit of direction mixed with their own personalities equals great photos every time. Ryleigh was quite the trooper and I must say she did an awesome job.

Kristen + Mike - Sunset Portraits

Photographed Kristen & Mike the other day down on the beach during sunset with their two dogs Onyx & Tucker. Kristen & Mike were just looking for some casual portraits of the two of them just hanging out during sunset. Kristen actually went to the same high school as me and it was good to catch up with her and meet her fiance Mike. We ended up with a nice array of images and below are just a few I picked out to display.

Margaret, Art, Fiona & John - Family Photos

Met up with Margaret and her family the other day to take some photos in and around her house which was a lot of fun. I've known Margaret since middle school and my wife Michele has known her since preschool. Michele came along on this shoot to catch up with Margaret and also help me out a little with the little ones. Fiona & little John were just way to cute and did a great job in front of the camera. Fiona was just way to cool I must say. She had to show us her room with all her toys, jewelry & books which was very entertaining. Set up only a couple portrait shots and the rest of the images were just candids. We got some really good images finishing the photo shoot off in Mom & Dad's bedroom. Fiona performed her Roly Poly dance for us and it was definitely the cherry on top for the images.
